JDRF IDOL Audition! Children and adults, ages 6 and older are invited to come and tryout for a chance to perform at the JDRF 10th Annual Gala. There will be 3 winners and 25 back-up singers to serve as JDRF Ambassadors at the Gala February 27th. [link] Auditions will be on Saturday, January 16, 2010 Noon to 5 PM. Virginia Diabetes Council's (VDC) Education and Empowerment Workgroup is pleased to announce the availability of a new tool for children with diabetes in the school setting - Virginia's Diabetes Medical Management School Forms. [link] The VDC endorses these forms and the Department of Education, Office of Student Services supports their use in all school systems in Virginia.
